Stuart Urquhart, President of the Ayrshire Amateur Football Association said, "As President of Ayrshire Amateur Football Association, I am delighted to have EDF Energy again sponsor our Premiere Trophy, the Ayrshire Challenge Cup, and sincerely thank EDF Energy for their continued support.

“Ayrshire Amateur Football Association and EDF Energy have had a very long affiliation, with the company sponsoring the trophy for some 20 seasons now, one of the longest sponsorship agreements throughout Scottish Amateur Football. I think we both feel it is a 'good fit', which offers our association the chance to make the competition more attractive, and at the same time allows EDF Energy to work with and support the community all over the county of Ayrshire.

“We are extremely grateful to EDF Energy, and again thank them for their continued generosity, and look forward to this sponsorship continuing for the next 20 years.”
