EDF announces new Managing Director for Customers business

EDF is pleased to announce the appointment of Philippe Commaret to Managing Director of EDF Customers, overseeing the company’s diverse retail business in the UK.

Philippe joins EDF from EDF in France, where he was a Director of Sales and previously, Director General of ÉS Énergies Strasbourg, part of a majority-owned subsidiary of EDF Group, which covers electricity and gas retail, energy services and renewable generation.

Philippe succeeds Beatrice Bigois who becomes Chief Executive of EDF Trading at the end of 2019.
