Who's eligible for the Daily Standing Charge Rollback payment of £30?

The Daily Standing Charge Rollback is EDFs way of rolling back daily standing charges to pre-energy crisis levels for its most vulnerable customers this winter as part of a £40m winter support package.

If eligible, you will receive the £30 payment between 5 – 22 December 2023.

Who's eligible for the £30 payment?

  • You will receive the £30 payment if you're an existing EDF customer and received the warm home discount from us automatically last winter.

How will I receive the £30 payment?

How you receive the payment is based on your meter type:

  • If you are a prepayment customer with a traditional (non-smart) meter, you will receive a voucher to redeem at the Post Office.
  • If you are a smart Pay As You Go customer, the credit will be directly applied to your smart meter.
  • If you are a direct debit or cash/cheque customer, the credit will be directly applied to your energy account.

If eligible, you will receive the £30 payment between 5 – 22 December 2023.

What do I do if I have a smart Pay As You Go meter but have received a voucher for the payment?

The voucher will not work on a smart Pay As You Go meter, so please do not to take it to the Post Office to redeem, and instead get in touch with us.

What do I do if I am eligible, but haven’t received my voucher by the end of December 2023?

Please get in touch and we will work with you to resolve your issue.
