Green Deal payments on your bill

Green Deal was a government scheme that encouraged energy-saving home improvements. If you see a Green Deal payment on your bill, your property would have taken part in this scheme.

Here's how it worked:

  1. A homeowner took out a loan for something like loft insulation or double glazing
  2. Their loan repayments were added to their electricity bill
  3. The loan stays with the property until it's paid off

If you've move into a home that still has a Green Deal loan, the loan repayments will automatically be added to your bill.

Please get in touch if you'd like to know more about the Green Deal payments for your home.
