When should I give my meter readings – I pay by Direct Debit Whole Amount (exact monthly payments)?

We'll ask you for a meter reading each month – just before your next Direct Debit payment is due.

You'll get a bill just after you submit this reading.

Did you get an estimated bill?

Send us a meter reading just after getting your estimated bill, and we'll cancel it. We'll then send you a new bill based on your meter reading.

 

What happens if I give an extra reading – I pay by Direct Debit Whole Amount (exact monthly or quarterly payments)?

You only need to give us a meter reading when we ask for it. If you give us an extra reading, we simply add it to your records.

This lets us know the exact amount of energy you've used since your last reading. That means we can charge it at the right price when it comes to your next bill.

But you won't get a bill. This comes after we ask you for your next meter reading.

Just had an estimated bill?

You can send us a meter reading, and we'll cancel your estimated bill. We'll then send you a new bill based on your meter reading.
