When should I give my meter readings – I pay by Card, Cash or Cheque (Monthly)?
We'll ask you for a meter reading each month – you'll get an accurate bill just after you submit this reading. If we don't get your reading on time, we'll send you an estimated bill.
If we don’t have an email address or mobile phone number for you, you’ll get a meter reading reminder by post every three months.
Did you get an estimated bill?
Send us a meter reading just after getting your estimated bill, and we'll cancel it. We'll then send you a new bill based on your meter reading.
What happens if I give an extra reading – I pay by Card, Cash or Cheque (Monthly)?
You only need to give us a meter reading when we ask for it. If you give us an extra reading, we simply add it to your records.
This lets us know the exact amount of energy you've used since your last reading. That means we can charge it at the right price when it comes to your next bill.
So you won't get a bill – and your balance won't be updated in MyAccount either.
You can send us a meter reading, and we'll cancel your estimated bill. We'll then send you a new bill based on your meter reading.
