Bereavement: how to tell us about a death of an EDF account holder

We'll do our very best to keep things simple for you at this difficult time – please start by selecting what you want to do:

1. I want to change the energy account into my name

  • I lived at my current address with the person who has died
  • I am the spouse or partner

3. I want to report the end of a lease after a death

  • The person who died rented their home
  • Their lease agreement has ended or is about to end

  • The person who died owned their home
  • The home has been sold or is about to be sold
