I've topped up after my smart pay as you go meter was disconnected, but I still don't have any energy

Did you press 'Activate supply' on your in-home display after topping up?

You'll need to do this if your smart PAYG meter was disconnected. Watch our video to find out how to activate your supply. 

Is your meter display showing any credit?

Ensure your in-home display is plugged in and switched on as this may affect your gas credit reaching the meter. It can take up to 30 minutes for the gas credit to refresh. If you still do not have credit, you might have to top up again to pay back any debt on your meter. It's possible to go into debt even when your meter is disconnected, as it continues to collect standing charges and any instalment plan payments due. Add more credit now in MyAccount – log in and go to 'My payments', then select 'Make a payment'.
