I’ve had a smart meter fitted today but I can’t see what I’m using in MyAccount online. Why is this?
We upload information overnight, so it might not have come through yet. Check it again tomorrow to see if it’s updated.
If it hasn’t, it might be that your smart meter is set to send us readings once a month. If this is the case then we can’t create the energy graphs. It’s easy to change this – just go to the About Me section in My Account. Then change how often your meter sends us readings to half hourly or daily.
If you choose half hourly you’ll be able to see the energy you’re using each half hour, day and month. And if you choose to send them to us once a day then you’ll be able to see the energy you’re using each day and month.
If you’re a dual fuel customer then both meters need to be commissioned (connected to our system) so you can see the graphs.
