What's covered?

What does the policy include?

  • Cover for your gas boiler, central heating and heating controls
  • Up to three claims per year and up to £500 per claim (£50 excess per claim applies)
  • 12 month warranty on parts

What's not covered?

  • Any non-domestic boiler that isn’t in your main residence
  • Repair/replacement of immersion heaters, radiators, radiator valves; internal or external pipework
  • Boilers in a property that isn’t a house, bungalow, self-contained flat or maisonette
  • Boilers in rented properties
  • Boilers that have an output of more than 70kWh

  1. By confirming my boiler cover contract, I give EDF Energy permission to transfer my bank account details to their trusted insurance provider, Intana, to set up the Direct Debit to take six monthly payments of £11.50 from months 7 to 12 for the annual boiler breakdown policy.
  2. A renewal notice will be sent to me by Intana in 12 months and my policy will be renewed automatically to ensure continuous cover, unless I choose to cancel my policy, which I can do at any time by calling Intana.
  3. Please note that the Insurance Product Information Document, Policy Wording and our Terms of Business form the basis of your insurance and it’s important to read all of these carefully before you pay for your policy

You have a 14 day period from the date of receiving your policy documentation in which to cancel your policy, with no penalty, subject to no claims having been made.
