Stuart Crooks, Managing Director of Hinkley Point C, looks ahead to a busy year at one of Europe's largest construction sites.

In the first of our bi-annual project updates, Stuart discusses the progress on site and how the project will transition from the civils phase to the mechanical and electrical (MEH) phase.

He also touches on some of the detailed safety elements of the EPR reactor, such as the aircraft protection shell.

With renewable power, Hinkley Point C’s reliable low-carbon electricity will help the UK move to a future without polluting fossil fuels. It will supply 7% of the UK's electricity and make a crucial contribution to our fight against climate change.
