We currently have a number of Business Apprenticeship vacancies within Nuclear Generation based in Barnwood, Gloucester.

Supporting the operation of EDF Energy’s existing fleet of nuclear power stations poses many unique engineering and commercial challenges. With an annual spend of over £600m the EDF Energy Central Technical Organisation is at the core of ensuring that the power stations can operate safely and that the commercial arrangements which underpin the operation deliver value for the organisation.

Our Business Apprenticeships focus on the commercial and non-technical aspects of our support to operational sites.

Where it could take you

This Business Apprenticeship is the first step in development of a career within EDF Energy. At the end of the scheme, you’ll have strong business skills behind you, a wealth of opportunities ahead not to mention all the support you may need in achieving the skills and qualifications required in your future career.

“Having been a part of the Business Apprenticeship Scheme, I have developed personally and professionally. “Since joining EDF Energy’s Business Apprenticeship scheme in 2013, I have been able to experience and achieve more than I could ever have imagined. Not only have I gained invaluable work experience working in a world class Supply Chain function, I have also been hugely supported by EDF Energy in developing myself personally through further education qualifications. I can’t wait to see what is around the corner for me next!”
