I chose to pursue a permanent position with EDF because of the opportunities, customer-centric culture and diverse people. I manage the EDF mobile app which close to 1 million of our customers use.
What projects could I be working on at EDF?
Digital Innovation
Our Digital Innovation team is leading the company’s research into cutting-edge digital technologies. Their aim is to explore how digital can improve the operational safety and efficiency of EDF's fleet of power stations and transform the way customers use energy.
A constant focus is the use of technology to enable the sustainable use of energy. Current priorities include artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality and blockchain. Read more about the current projects.

Mobile app
EDF launched a revamped mobile app in 2019 which has achieved great success, achieving a 4.6 rating in the App Store, ranking 4th for energy providers and being shortlisted for the Masters of Marketing 2020 awards.
The app was developed by sourcing true customer needs through insight gathering and applying experience design strategies. During 2020 we added multiple features to support Smart Pay As You Go customers, push notifications and smart meter data visualisation. Read more about the app.
