What if I find a problem or have issues?
As an EDF Energy employee trialist we appreciate the feedback you can provide. If you experience any issues please us on firstname.lastname@example.org and we will respond to you as soon as we can. By learning about your experiences will help us improve the app when it is released to our customers.
Will you be using my tariff?
As this is a trial, we will be using your current tariff standing daily charge and unit rates to estimate the potential costs of different household activities. Any changes to your tariff during the trial will be reflected in the app as soon the new rates are loaded on to your meter(s). Standing charges will only be applied to a full day costs, not the real-time cost.
How does the app work?
The app automatically works in two modes: fast mode and slow mode. In fast mode, we display live data every 3-15 seconds so that you can see what energy is being used and its related costs as you perform household tasks. Where costs are lower than one pence per minute, we will round down the number (E.g. >1p). Slow mode is used to show you hourly, daily and weekly data on your household’s energy usage.
How long is the trial?
As an EDF Energy employee trialist this will be ongoing. You can keep the mobile app as long as you like. By doing so you give us consent to continue to collect your data for the purpose of being able to display it for you on the app.
What happens after the trial?
As an EDF Energy employee trialist we may contact you before our customer trial starts to gather feedback from you before the customer trial begins. We will contact you with a survey to understand your experience. You can leave the trial at any time by uninstalling the app. Once you do so you will no longer have access to your real-time view, but you may continue to use the Trio II CAD for as long as you like.
