The world is waking up to the terrible effects climate change could have on our planet.  As an energy company we recognise that we’re currently part of the problem. After all, producing energy for millions of people has often meant burning a lot of fossil fuels, which produces carbon dioxide emissions that contribute to climate change.

But being part of the problem means we can also be part of the solution.  And we’re playing a leading role in the fight to reduce carbon emissions.  Our aim is to reduce the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions from our electricity production by 60% by 2020.
