When a household needs to spend more than 10% of its income to heat the home to an adequate standard of warmth, it’s called “fuel poor”.

We’ve led the way in supporting fuel-poor customers.  We were first to introduce a special tariff for our most vulnerable customers, first to create an energy trust fund for customers experiencing difficulty in meeting their utility bills and first to align electricity prepayment and standard credit tariffs.
