We’re committed to building strong and lasting relationships and to genuine communication with a wide variety of stakeholder groups. We believe these relationships are of advantage to both sides and help to improve our performance.

We have three key stakeholder groups: our customers, our employees and our shareholder, EDF – one of Europe’s leading energy companies. We have a duty to all, plus a responsibility to the broader community.

In addition to these key stakeholders, others include:

  • Government
  • National/regional assemblies, including the London Assembly
  • local authorities
  • the Regulator (Ofgem)
  • our neighbours
  • NGOs
  • suppliers
  • business and charity partners
  • the media

We engage with these groups in various ways: formal, informal, structured and ad-hoc. We use their views to inform and improve our operations. Our dialogue with stakeholders also helps us to develop new products and services.
