How we are recognised: Awards
We are rightly proud of the awards we receive: they reflect the diverse areas of excellence within EDF Energy. During 2004 we received the following awards:
- Winner of National Customer Service Disability Award
- National Customer Service Awards - Category 'Team of the Year, Retail'
- HRH recognised Paul Cuttill, Chief Operating Officer of Networks Branch, as a Princes Trust Ambassador.
- Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Order of Distinction for Cottam Power Station. This was the first time a Power Station won this award.
- Sunderland Echo Portfolio Business Awards 2004 in the category of Special Community Award.
- Networks Branch-wide Investors in People recognition with many recommendations as 'world class'
- Regional winners at the North East Business in the Community Awards for Excellence, where we were recognised in the Education and Lifelong Learning category for our work in local schools.
- We won two awards at the Utility Industry Awards 2004. The first award was for Marketing Initiative of the Year (proving that our partnership with Nectar was and still is an extremely successful one) and the second was for Customer Care Award (We were recognised for our excellent service for prepayment customers.
- One of the finalist of the Best call Centre Working Environment Competition 2004.
- The National Customer Service Awards 2004.
- The Priority Services Team won the Customer Service Team Award - Focus on Disability.
- Apprentice of the Year for one of the apprentices on the ECS apprentice scheme. Awarded by London Employers Training Forum – 2004.
