If we are to meet our ambitions, everyone across EDF Energy must work together to realise their own potential and do whatever they can to improve the performance of the company.
During 2004, we started a programme of workshops exploring the culture and structures within EDF Energy that would be necessary in order to achieve this. Words often used to describe what we aim to be were: 'efficient', 'effective', 'engaged', 'empowered', 'energising', 'enlightened', and 'ethical'. So we call this concept 'e' factor and it is at the heart of what we hope to achieve in the years ahead. The 'e' factor is key to improving our processes and delivering our ambitions.
