Business Customers

As well as residential customers, we serve business customers, ranging from small enterprises through to famous national companies such as Tesco or Orange.

The most significant development for our business customers in 2004 was the introduction of Energy Zone. Launched in July 2004, Energy Zone provides an online route for customers to send and receive information that is important to the smooth running of their energy contracts. Our customers can now enjoy the speed and convenience of requesting, receiving and downloading a variety of useful data via the user-friendly website, www.ebusiness-energy.com.

Since the launch, Energy Zone has seen customer numbers grow steadily as more businesses realise the benefits of using the service. Sales staff have also demonstrated the product to potential customers during contract negotiations, making us more appealing when the wholesale market prices are unfavourable.

In a bid to stay ahead of the competition, we will be launching a new product in 2005 called 'Energy View'. Accessible through Energy Zone, 'Energy View' will provide a comprehensive energy monitoring service. The development will translate raw metering data into manageable graphs and charts online and will help business customers reduce their energy consumption.
