How does it work?

Become a Green Tariff customer and each year EDF Energy will purchase an amount of energy from renewable sources (for example: wind, landfill gas and small scale hydro) that is equivalent to the amount of energy you have used.

Green Tariff is now part of the Green Energy Certification Scheme. This voluntary scheme has been set up to independently certify tariffs to ensure they meet the required level of environmental benefit.

We'll also use a portion of the money to support the Green Fund which helps support installation of renewable energy sources for community, non-profit and educational organisations.
