Step 1 - Contact Your Supplier
Before a disconnection can take place you must contact your electricity supplier and request that they arrange for the meter to be disconnected. At the same time, they should generate an electronic flow called a D0132 which is sent to EDF Energy Networks.
If you are unsure who your supplier is you can call our Meter Point Administration team.
- London 0845 600 0102
- Kent, Sussex and Surrey 0845 601 5467
- East of England 0870 1963 082
The Meter Point Administration team will inform you of who supplies the site (as long as the service is being billed).
Step 2 - Your D0132 notification
When you have been informed by your supplier that the D0132 has been sent to EDF Energy Networks, please contact the following teams, depending on the type of service to be disconnected:
All permanent supplies:
- London 0845 601 4516
- Kent, Sussex and Surrey 0845 601 4516
- East of England 0870 196 3090
Step 3 - Disconnection Date
Once a job has been raised by EDF Energy Networks we will contact whoever's details were provided on the D0132 in order to organise a date for the disconnection.
Important Information
EDF Energy Networks reserves the right to decline the D0132 if the supplier has not provided all the necessary information, such as a full postal address or a contact name and phone number.
From the date of receiving the D0132, it may take us up to 10 working days to raise a job for the disconnection.
All disconnections need to be carried out on the public highway, which means that they are subject to the normal local authority opening notices.
