EDF Energy realises that delivering compliant and effective lighting solutions for civil works can be complex and time consuming, and an ‘off the shelf’ package rarely meets client or local authority requirements.
AD Bly of Old Knebworth, Hertfordshire, placed their first order with us back in September 2005. Since that initial order we have now completed over a quarter of a million pounds’ worth of work for them.
We recently installed 42 columns at the Ovals in Bracknell, a mixture of 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 metre columns which are remotely monitored using the Mayflower Monitoring System. We have also developed a solution for South Woodford High Street, where11 x 8mtr and 8 x 6mtr innovative aluminium columns are being erected. At The Grove in Stanmore we are erecting 54 ornate 4 mtr columns with swan necks Windsor Ely lanterns, 7 x 5mtr ornate columns and 6 x ornate bollards.
Tamdown from Braintree in Essex carries out a lot of work for Bovis Homes.
Tamdown placed a first order with us back in July 2005 and since then have placed nearly £1/3m of business our way. A recent contract has resulted in the installation of 15 ornate Windsor Amex columns and Ely B lanterns in St Mary’s Island in Chatham. At All Saints Hospital in Chatham we have installed a private cable network with feeder pillars to supply 28 x 5 mtr columns.
