Insulating or replacing external doors can help to reduce draughts and heat loss at home – and fitting insulation to existing doors is probably something you can do yourself.
How it works
External doors can be replaced with specially insulated solid doors. Alternatively, draught proofing tape and skirting can be fitted.
How it’s installed
You’ll probably need a professional to install a new insulated external door, but applying draught proofing tape and skirting is a fast, easy and relatively inexpensive DIY measure you can do yourself.
