The EDF Energy East of England Media Awards was held on 21 January 2010 at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Essex. Ben Marsden, Olympic Hockey player with over 50 caps for England and part of the squad which won gold at the 2009 Euro Hockey Championships, joined the event as a special guest which was hosted by Bob Lane, EDF Energy's Director of Network Operations.

Television Journalist of the Year - Kevin Burch, BBC Look East
