Our title summarises exactly what our business unit does: Energy Sourcing and Customer Supply (ESCS). That means we use our energy generation assets and our access to energy markets to build strong relationships with our residential and business customers, which in turn will create long-term value for our business.

We have to employ the best people
With around 8,000 people spread across 50 locations and working in the field, the ESCS workforce is large, diverse and absolutely key to the success of our company. Working in a competitive marketplace means we need high performing people who have the skills, experience, systems’ knowledge and leadership abilities to help us stay ahead of our competitors.
The relationships we have with our residential and business customers are driven by three main criteria; customer service levels, pricing, and where we source our energy. We integrate our decision-making and methodology on each of these issues across the business.
