Corporate Steering Functions

Our corporate team supports the business on strategy, policy and commercial activities.

We play a key role in protecting and enhancing the reputation of EDF Energy, working to ensure our company is respected, influential and successful. This involves building relationships inside and outside of the business and the wider EDF Group.

Our team includes a broad mix of people who help to shape the brand and its communication, the people management of our business, our policies – everything from sustainability to diversity – our financial management, procurement strategy and legal affairs.

Our three priorities

The collective responsibility of the corporate team is to understand and shape our company’s DNA; to ensure it is a great, successful and safe place to work. We have a particular focus on supporting our company’s nuclear strategy and do this by growing knowledge and understanding of this kind of energy creation. We have three priorities that reflect these responsibilities:

  2. Increase nuclear acceptability
  3. Be an employer of choice

We need professional individuals to enable us to support the business and shape the company DNA. 

Company Shared Services and Integration

Our Company Shared Services team provides support services to our whole Company with the optimum combination of cost and quality. We are responsible for the Project Management of our EDF Energy Integration with British Energy which includes: IT Operations, Project Management, Property, and our links with EDF Research & Development as well as the Shared Transaction Services in Finance and Human Resources.
