There are four stages involved in making an online application for a role at EDF Energy:
Register and create a profile
Before you apply for a job online you will be invited to create a profile, which includes specifying your job preferences, providing an email address and selecting a memorable password. You will be able to access and update this information at any time by entering your email address and password. By selecting your preferred career areas and locations, you will receive automatic job updates that relate to your preferences. To register please log on to the Candidate Zone and enter the details required.
Search for a vacancy
You can search for a vacancy either through the candidate pages or using the job search on the right of this page. By clicking on the job title, you will have access to a summary of the job vacancy followed by a more detailed job description.
Apply for a vacancy
When you are completing the forms please ensure the information you provide is accurate. You will be asked to attach your CV so make sure you are happy with it before you begin the application process.
If you need to edit your details after you’ve registered, you can do this in the Candidate Zone.
Please note that application pages time out after a prolonged period of inactivity. You need to complete and save each section within a maximum of 18 minutes. You may find it easier to write your responses in a separate document and then copy and paste your finalised content into the appropriate fields.
Once you have completed all the required fields you will have an opportunity to review your application.
Once you have submitted your application for this role you will not be able to change this information. Our recruitment team will review your application and if you are suitable for the role you have applied for you will be invited to an interview.

Check the status of your application
Once registered you will be able to login to the system to check the status of your application through the Candidate Zone.
