What does it involve?
At the forefront of the UK’s nuclear renaissance, the possibilities are immense. But if we are to meet our ambitions as an organisation, we need to continually grow and develop as individuals. A key part of our long-term strategy, therefore, is about ensuring each and every person who works with us has the up-to-date skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.
On this placement, you’ll discover exactly what it takes to review the training needs of our diverse workforce, liaising directly with Engineering, Operations and Projects teams from across the business to organise targeted training and improve the way we work. All the training developed within this group is technically focused, so you’ll need a background in science or engineering.
Who is it for?
You needn’t be an expert already, but you must have a good base understanding from your engineering or science degree. Above all, you’ll need a genuine interest in technical training within the nuclear sector, and the desire to take ownership of your experience on the placement. We’re eager for you to achieve a great deal – and we want to see that eagerness reflected in you.
Where is it based?
Our Technical Training internship will be based at our central Engineering Centre Barnwood, in Gloucestershire or our London Office.
