What does it involve?
Marketing is a key function in EDF Energy, focused on developing products and services that meet customer needs. This plays a central role in achieving our ambitions, especially that of being the first choice for customers. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work with world class marketing professionals and agencies in an environment where we encourage everyone to stand up and be counted.
The roles within our Marketing team are diverse and you could be involved in a number of areas during your internship. These range from innovation (idea generation and development) through to operations (what the customer sees) via retention and acquisition (honing ideas). Throughout all of this, customer insight is essential, so you’ll quickly learn look at things from our customers’ point of view and focus on the things that matter most.
Who is it for?
This internship is suitable for those studying all degree subjects. But whatever your background, you’ll need a genuine interest in the nuclear sector and the desire to take ownership of your experience on the placement. We’re eager for you to achieve a great deal – and we want to see that eagerness reflected in you. What’s most important is that you’re fascinated by the world around you, human behaviour and what makes people tick.
Where is it based?
Our marketing placement is based at our offices in Hove on the south coast.
