What does it involve?
Thanks to our large and varied workforce – which includes field and office-based staff, right across the country - and the unique nature of our work, EDF Energy offers many exciting and fascinating HR challenges. The responsibilities of our HR Support team cover everything from training and development to benefits and rewards. Not to mention the influence they have on our change management agenda and ongoing policy development.
During your internship you’ll gain valuable experience in many of these different areas of our work. You may also have the chance to work on projects that support our reward strategy, change management agenda or policy management. All this will give you a fantastic insight into the day-to-day work of our HR Support Team as well as the kind of longer-term initiatives we get involved with.
Who is it for?
We are looking for individuals who can work effectively as part of a team, and want to take ownership of their own experience. Ideally you’ll be working towards a business or HR related degree, know MS Office like the back of your hand and perhaps even have some experience with other software packages like SAP.
Where is it based?
The Human Resources Team is based at our Barnwood site in Gloucestershire. So, during your time on the internship, that’s where you’ll be based too.
