What does it involve?
Finance is at its most interesting in a business that is growing fast, or in an industry that changes rapidly. EDF Energy offers you both. Finance has a say in every decision we make here. After all, we want to make sure our energy is affordable for all our customers. And we want to ensure we've enough to invest where we need to invest it. We also pride ourselves on taking a future-focused and sensible approach to what can be a volatile market.
The aim of this Summer Internship is to give you a realistic experience of working in EDF Energy, with the intention that you will go on to apply for the Graduate Programme. It is intended that you will perform a wide range of different tasks within the department, in order to gain a variety of experiences in a large energy company. You will become a member of the team working to resolve real issues that exist at the time of your internship.
Is it for me?
To be considered, you’ll need to be studying for a degree in Finance or Accounting. But just as important, is a genuine interest in the work we do and the desire to make the most of your experience on the internship. We’re eager for you to achieve a great deal – and we want to see that eagerness reflected in you.
Where is it based?
Join us for a summer internship in Finance and you’ll be based at our offices East Kilbride, Glasgow or Barnwood in Gloucestershire.
