This is an exciting opportunity to join our Brand Group. This is the group which creates and builds our vibrant brand, to help us in our ambition to lead a sector which was previously associated with commodity purchasing. Our Brand Group is responsible for some very high profile campaigns – such as Team Green Britain, our iconic “recycled clips” TV ads and many more.
The core aims of this group are:
- To coordinate the creation of a differentiated and inspirational brand vision, and to guide the business towards a brand-led marketing and business strategy.
- To develop effective, integrated, and award-winning brand communications which grow the EDF Energy business; and to leverage these communications internally to galvanise employees.
- To make sure that our brand strategy and activity plan is consistent across the entire EDF Energy organisation, transforming the customer experience at every contact point.
What will you do?
You will work alongside a number of different work streams within the Brand Group including the Brand Vitality team and the Brand Communications teams. The Brand Vitality team is responsible for bringing the brand to life in all applications and touch points across the organisation. The Brand Communications team is responsible for creating and implementing integrated campaigns including sponsorship, showcasing events and above the line channels.
Your role will be vary varied and could include elements of brand identity, design and management combined with employee engagement and education campaigns or supporting the brand communications team in activating the specific campaigns focused on delivery within time and budget.
Is it for me?
We are looking for undergraduates currently studying a relevant degree subject – ideally marketing or brand related. A passion for brands and an interest in marketing is essential. The opportunities are based within our offices in London and South East England.
