The 2011 Industrial Placement Schemes are now closed. The 2012 Industrial Placement Schemes will open for applications in the Autumn.

 

Our twelve-month industrial placements offer you the chance to broaden your knowledge, enhance your employability and gain a unique insight into one of the world’s leading energy companies.

Who is it for?

Our Industrial placements are aimed at talented undergraduates who are keen to learn and can work full time for twelve months as part of their university sandwich course. You’ll need to be enthusiastic, with very good communication and team working skills, innovative ideas and the potential to influence the way we do things. You will also have at least one year of university study behind you so that we can build on your theoretical knowledge with real life experience. In return for your hard work we will provide you with a solid grounding in your chosen area, giving you a real kick-start to your career. Sponsorship opportunities may also be available.

Is this a paid placement?

Yes, you’ll be on a fixed term contract for the length of the placement and paid £15,000 per annum (pro rata).

How will the candidates be selected?

To apply you’ll need to complete an online application form. Once we have it, we’ll review it and get back to you soon as we can. You can expect a thorough and fair selection process using the following techniques: verbal, numerical, abstract and inductive reasoning tests, telephone interviews, technical interviews and assessment centres.
