The Information Security team are responsible for the delivery of business-critical information security initiatives, and also for ensuring ongoing Regulatory compliance within the nformation security sector.
During this placement you will be working alongside our Information Security team. You will be given ownership of projects and will be responsible for seeing them through to formal delivery. You could, for example, assist in the preparation of new (and revision of existing) procedures, standards and project documentation to ensure compliance and relevance to EDF Energy Nuclear Generation business requirements.
We will ask the placement student to share latest educational developments within the Information Security landscape with the team and assist in research areas. The placement student will be expected to undertake small projects within the team with minimal supervision and also work on more substantial workstreams as part of a larger team.
Who is it for?
The successful candidate for this role will preferably be undertaking an Information Security degree from a university with a strong track record in the discipline.
Where is it based?
Our Information Security Placement will be based at our Central Technical Support offices in Barnwood, Gloucestershire.
