About the scheme
The EDF Energy Business Apprenticeship is the first step towards a wide variety of career paths within EDF Energy and a real chance to take control of your future. Based at our Barnwood central engineering support centre, you’ll gain a recognised business qualification, together with the skills, experience and confidence you’ll need to build a great career in the energy industry. At the end of the scheme with an Advanced Apprenticeship in Business and Administration under your belt, all kinds of possibilities will open up in any number of professional or managerial roles. And with opportunities in areas as diverse as Supply Chain, Programme Control or Engineering Support – not to mention support with the skills and qualifications that you need to reach your desired career – it’s an opportunity too good to miss.
About you
We have high expectations for the individuals we take on: people genuinely interested in nuclear energy and ready to take ownership of their career. We’re eager for you to achieve a great deal – and we want to see that eagerness reflected in you, too. That doesn’t mean you need to be an expert already. But as we’re after people with ambition and drive to rival ours, you’ll certainly be willing to learn and develop. Whichever path you choose to follow further down the line, you can be sure your time on the apprenticeship will stand you in good stead.
