EDF Energy's application for a development consent order to build and operate Hinkley Point C and associated development was submitted to the Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC) on 31 October 2011, following extensive consultation.

The application has been accepted by the IPC and published on its website, signalling the start of an examination and decision-making process. Representations on the application from interested parties should be made to the IPC and not EDF Energy.

Printed copies of the application are available for inspection at EDF Energy's office in Bridgwater (14 King Square, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 3DG), West Somerset Council (West Somerset House, Killick Way, Williton, Somerset TA4 4QA), Sedgemoor District Council (Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, Somerset TA6 3AR) and Taunton Library (Paul Street, Taunton, Somerset TA1 3XZ).
